LAW 2 – THE BALL

Qualities and Measurements

Add: predominately WHITE in color.

LAW 3 – NUMBER OF PLAYERS

Second Paragraph: Replace with the following:

There is no GRACE PERIOD for games in the North County District.

Game time is the scheduled start time. If at the scheduled start time a

team fails to field at least seven (7) players; the game shall be forfeited to

the team having the required number of players unless the team has an

excuse satisfactory to the District Executive Board.

LAW 12 – FOULS AND MISCONDUCT

Under Decisions of the International F.A. Board:

a) Add to Decision 4:

NOTE:

A player shall NOT be penalized for merely playing the ball

 

while lying on the ground.

b) Add to Decision 5:

Female players may cross their arms over the chest area when attempting

to play the ball with the chest – for protective purposes. The arms must

be crossed and held close to the body. Having the arms too far from the

body or deliberately moving the arms to play the ball shall be considered

an infringement upon the law and will be penalized by the award of an

indirect free-kick from the point of the infraction.

LAW 15 – THROW-IN

Add at the end of Law 15:

The FLIP or SOMERSAULT THROW-IN:

The Flip / Somersault Throw-in SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED. The

violating player shall be cautioned for a dangerous play. The game

shall be restarted by an indirect free-kick taken by a member of the

opposing team from the point of the infraction.
