The North County CYC Spirit Games are a showcase to display the "best of
the best" in those that exhibit great Christian values, great aspects of being a
team player and overall great values as young men and women and deserve
the honor of being named to the "Spirit Team".
Sportsmanship, attitude, beliefs and superior principles are the driving force
of these young men and women....Congradulations to each and evey one of
them and their parents!!!!!
There are 2 types of Spirit Games.
The NCCYC Spirit Games that are focused on just the parishes that
participate in the NCCYC. These games are for the 8th grades players and
are done for basketball, baseball, softball, soccer and volleyball.
There is also the "Spirit of St. Louis" games which is put on by the CYC office
and consists of members from every district in the CYC organization, these
games are also for the 8th graders.
We will focus on the NCCYC Spirit Games here on the web site, mainly
because these games are run completely by the NCCYC district and the
players are strictly from the NCCYC. Over the years, the players have shown
great enjoyment in these games. It gives them a chance to play against
their own teammates and even team up with friends they have made on
opposing teams.
